ABOUT CHARITY ONLINE AUCTION
The non-profit Association INEMEA is organizing a charity auction “Artists for Israel” to help the Nahal Oz massacre victims on October 7, 2023.
Kibbutz Nazal Oz was located less than a kilometer from the border with the Gaza Strip. It was a small settlement of over 400 people in the Negev Desert, where for 70 years the kibbutz residents were working hard to transform the desert into fertile fields. Nahal Oz was known for its developed agriculture and livestock breeding. Its residents valued their peaceful, calm lives.
On the evening of October 7, a grand celebration was planned in Nahal Oz in honor of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the kibbutz. All residents, workers, family, and friends were supposed to gather around the table and celebrate life and prosperity. But the morning of this day changed everything. Hamas militants entered the kibbutz. They burned houses and destroyed property. Dozens of kibbutz residents were brutally killed, including children and elderly. Some were kidnapped and taken to the Gaza Strip.
It is impossible to bring back the dead, but you can help those still alive. People lost their homes and their properties. They need to rebuild their lives. The INEMEA Association, whose mission is the dialogue between the creative community of Israel and global communities, has brought together famous artists and participants of prestigious exhibitions from Israel, America, and Europe to donate their works for the online charity auction “Artists for Israel” to help the survivors from kibbutz Nahal Oz.
We ask you to spread this message among your friends and those who are not indifferent to this terrible tragedy.
By purchasing the works of art at the auction, you are investing in our common hope. Hope for a peaceful, happy life.
